THE LECTURER

Dr. Fadi Antar

DMD, FICD, CAGS, (Boston University), pediatric Dentistry, Myofunctional Orthodontics, Dental Sleep Medicine

Dr. Fadi Antar, Pediatric Dentist, graduated from Boston University in 1990 and has been practicing in Beirut since. He has also been a lecturer and clinical instructor at the Lebanese University since 1990.

Early in his career, he identified developing malocclusions in young patients but lacked tools to address them, often advising treatment with fixed orthodontics at 13-14 years.

Twelve years ago, Dr. Antar discovered Myofunctional Orthodontics in Germany and gained expertise through courses in Australia and the USA. In 2012, he opened the Middle East’s first Myofunctional Orthodontics and Sleep Dentistry clinic, “Smiling Faces,” followed by “Myosmile Dental Clinic” in Dubai.

Integrating this system into his practice, he has helped patients improve breathing, address sleep-disordered breathing, and prevent complications like obstructive sleep apnea while treating malocclusions early. Dr. Antar has since led seminars and courses across the Middle East.
